What is Teko Padel?

Our essence is born from teko.

In Guaraní, teko means way of being, way of living.

It represents the harmony between people, community and nature.

The inspiration: to live and promote padel as an authentic, healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

The mission: to connect people and businesses around padel, creating real value and lasting opportunities.

The vision: for Paraguay to become a padel benchmark in South America, integrating sport, community and purpose-driven business.

ESSENCE

I'm

Fernando

Blanca

Economist from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with over 12 years dedicated to international business development in the padel industry.

I have worked with brands, clubs, manufacturers and investors across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. I have managed international expansion projects, specialized recruitment and market entry strategies for companies in the sector.

I come from the Spanish market — the largest and most established padel market in the world — where I have seen firsthand what works, what doesn't, and why. That experience is a resource I make available to anyone who wants to use it.

I came to Paraguay because what I found here struck me as extraordinary: an ecosystem built with remarkable merit in just a few years. Today I'm based in Asunción, where I lead Teko Padel and work with those who want to build something together.

INTERNATIONAL BACKING

Why Paraguay?

An ecosystem built on its own merit

  • +500,000 active players

  • +2,000 courts installed nationwide

  • 7.8% population penetration — comparable to Spain after three decades

  • Nearly 100% club digitalization in Asunción and Greater Asunción

  • Host of Premier Padel P2 at SND Arena (2024–2026)

This is not a passing trend. It is a consolidated industry, with its own identity and real opportunities.

What Paraguay has built in padel in just a few years is exceptional:

Padel as a way of life
